The town of Ragusa has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its incredible architecture and cultural legacy. Some of the most impressive sites here include the Cathedral of San Giorgio and the Church of Santa Maria delle Scale.
Outside of Ragusa, travellers can hike along the Cava d’Ispica, a beautiful river valley filled with caves and tombs. Birdwatchers will want to visit the Bruno and Longarino Bogs, and lovers of windsurfing, kitesurfing and other coastal pursuits can visit the beaches of Marina di Modica.
