LOCATION
Pappasole Camping Village is located in Carbonifera, Riotorto, in the municipality of Piombino, on the Gulf of Follonica, between the Maremma and the Val di Cornia. From here, the beaches of Carbonifera and Torre Mozza are within walking distance; the Follonica train station is 8.9 km away.

BEACH AND SEA
The sea is about 380 meters from the campground. Nearby, you’ll find kilometers of public beach, two partner beach clubs, and a beach reserved for guests with pets. Pappabeach, accessible on foot or by bike, features a bar in the pine forest, a kids’ club, water aerobics, beach volleyball tournaments, pedal boat, SUP, and canoe rentals, J.O.B. chairs, and a first-aid station. 

CAMPING SITES
The Standard, Comfort, and De Luxe sites are surrounded by greenery, range in size from 90 to 100 square meters, and are shaded by artificial canopies. Some include private bathrooms. The campground features four restroom facilities, with areas for children, accessible restrooms, chemical toilets, and areas for washing dishes and clothes. 

BUNGALOWS AND MOBILE HOMES
The resort offers Deluxe, Comfort, Deluxe Small, and Prestige bungalows, as well as Premium mobile homes and Green Lodges sleeping 2, 4, or 6 guests. The accommodations are set amid spacious green areas and include kitchen amenities, dishes, bed and bath linens, pillows, blankets, and hair dryers. The Prestige Bungalows and Premium Mobile Homes feature a veranda with a gate. 

DINING AND SERVICES
The Pappasole Restaurant and Pizzeria serves seafood and meat dishes for lunch and dinner, as well as pizza in the evening. On-site, you’ll find the Super A&O supermarket, offering fresh, organic, local, gluten-free, and lactose-free products, as well as the Pappasole Boutique.
The pool complex includes four pools, a semi-Olympic-sized pool with two lanes dedicated to swimming, and the option to take lessons during peak season. There are also daily aqua aerobics classes and a dog area near the pools. 

SPORTS AND LEISURE
The resort features three padel courts, two tennis courts, an outdoor fitness area, and fields for soccer, basketball, volleyball, bocce, beach tennis, and beach volleyball. The offerings are rounded out by pickleball, mini-golf, table tennis, teqball, and a game room. Tournaments and entertainment activities are organized; rentals of standard bicycles, e-bikes, and mountain bikes are also available. 

PETS
Pets are allowed on all campsites and in all accommodations, as well as in shops and restaurants. The resort offers a dog-walking area with games and obstacles, dedicated dog showers, drinking water stations, and relaxation areas surrounded by greenery. For guests staying in bungalows, lodges, or mobile homes, bowls and pet beds are available upon request. 

THINGS TO EXPLORE IN THE SURROUNDING AREA
The surrounding area offers the chance to explore the Maremma coast, the Val di Cornia, and the villages of Tuscany. Recommended destinations include Campiglia Marittima, Suvereto, Populonia, and Pitigliano, along with spa towns such as Terme di Saturnia, San Filippo, La Cerreta, and Calidario Terme Etrusche.
