LOCATION
Located in the quiet hamlet of Pratolungo, the Camping Royal stretches across a terraced area of approximately 15,000 square meters, nestled among centuries-old chestnut groves at 500 meters above sea level. Just a few kilometers away are enchanting places such as Lake Orta, the village of Orta San Giulio, and the slopes of Mottarone. Its secluded yet strategic location makes it easy to reach both the lake shores and places such as the Toce Waterfall or Lake Maggiore with its famous Borromean Islands. Adding to the charm of the natural setting is the legend linking this place to the Lombard queen Teodolinda. The campground serves as a starting point for cultural, nature, and sports excursions in the area.

ACCOMMODATIONS
The campground features 60 campsites surrounded by greenery, equipped with electric hookups and suitable for tents, RVs, and trailers, with drinking water fountains located less than 30 meters away. The area is well-shaded and well-maintained.

Among the permanent accommodations, caravans and cottages are available, featuring a sleeping area with double and single beds, a living area with a fully equipped kitchen, a garden area furnished with a small table, chairs, and a sunshade, LPG gas heating, and shared restrooms nearby. The 41 Rosa features a refrigerator, kitchenette, and dishes; the 35 Ortensia has similar features, while the 60 Glicine also has a private bathroom.

The Comfort Mobile Homes offer a kitchenette, refrigerator, dishes, and a full bathroom with shower, toilet, and bidet. Also available are the Lake View models, featuring a view of Lake Orta.

FACILITIES
Among the facilities at Camping Royal are a swimming pool reserved for guests, a restroom facility with hot showers, sinks, dishwashing sinks, and a washing machine, as well as heated areas in winter. The reception desk offers tourist information, internet access, and reservations for local events, as well as bike, scooter, and car rentals.

The property also features a grocery store, the “Il Rustico” with beverage vending machines and satellite TV, a free shuttle bus to Pettenasco and Orta San Giulio, indoor and outdoor parking areas, and acommon area with a barbecue.

ACTIVITIES AND ENTERTAINMENT
For sports, there is a 7-a-side soccer field, which can also be used for volleyball, as well as activities available in the surrounding area such as tennis, horseback riding, water skiing, and golf. Children can have fun at the playground with swings, slides, a play castle, a sandbox, and board games.

During the summer, the campground offers evening entertainment for adults and children, sports tournaments and group activities. For those who prefer a more relaxed atmosphere, there is a library and an internet café.
