In the heart of a typical slice of Mediterranean vegetation on the Roman coastline, 50 km away from the Eternal City, the Parco della Gallinara Camping Village covers an area of 25 acres of a lush pine forest only few steps from a beautiful beach.
Out of the almost 1000 large pitches (measuring 100m2 each) scattered across the pine forest and in the fragrant Mediterranean woodland, more than 600 have water and power supplies; for those who want to experience an even more natural way of life, there are 400 utterly “wild” pitches, with no power or water supplies – these are ideal for those who are looking for a simple, direct relationship with nature and want to regain a sense of spontaneity, leaving their daily life and creature comforts behind.
The Parco della Gallinara inaugurated the new holiday village in the 2010 season. It is located in a part of the wonderful Mediterranean pine forest, just a few yards from the beach, and plays host to 50 fully equipped cottages, complete with air conditioning. The 5 types of mobile home – all sleeping 4 but with different configurations to meet specific requirements and to suit families even with more members – were built using highly eco-compatible technologies, from recyclable materials, and are geared towards promoting an eco-aware lifestyle. Thanks to the terraces and verandas, the interiors and exteriors are combined, giving rise to a perfectly balanced environment in terms of both form and structure.
