LOCATION
The Camping Atlanta Mediterraneo is located in Sottomarina, about 3 km from Chioggia, a charming town in the Venetian Lagoon known as “Little Venice” for its narrow streets, palaces, and canals. The campground is situated just 100 meters from its private beach and serves as a starting point for visiting various sites of historical, cultural, and artistic interest. Among the nearby cities worth visiting are Padua, with the Basilica del Santo; Ravenna, famous for its Byzantine mosaics; and Verona, with its Roman Arena. Daily boat trips are also organized to Venice and the islands of Murano, Burano, and Torcello. Just a few kilometers from the campground, you can go on bike tours in the Po Delta, known for its unique wildlife.

ACCOMMODATIONS AND SITES
The sites, measuring approximately 70 square meters, consist of grassy ground and enjoy ample shade thanks to the poplar grove. They are equipped with drinking water with a direct 3/4-inch connection and a 220 V electrical outlet compliant with EEC standards, with a 6A amperage. They can accommodate up to 6 people with a tent, RV, or trailer.

For those who prefer a more permanent accommodation, the campground offers new-generation mobile homes, some of which are equipped with two bathrooms. The units can accommodate up to 6 people and include a master bedroom, two bedrooms with single beds, a living room with a sofa and a kitchenette, as well as one or two bathrooms with shower stalls and bidets. The kitchen is equipped with stove, microwave, coffee maker, and a full set of cookware. There is also air conditioning and a flat-screen TV.

The Gaia and Adria units sleep 6 and have one bathroom, while Stromboli, Gardenia, Acquamarina, and Bluemarine sleep 6 and have two bathrooms.

AMENITIES
The campground offers Wi-Fi throughout the entire area, day and night security, bicycle rentals, and three restroom blocks with hot showers, separate men’s and women’s restrooms, sinks, dishwashing sinks, and coin-operated washing machines. There are also accessible restrooms.

On the premises, you’ll find a café bar, a convenience store, and a restaurant-pizzeria. Guests can also enjoy a 50 x 25-meter Olympic-size swimming pool for adults—swim caps are required—and a children’s pool with water play features,, where swimming lessons are organized during the season and upon request. Also available are a playground, a private beach, a ticket office and currency exchange, and the option for non-guests to visit according to the hours indicated by the facility.

ACTIVITIES AND ENTERTAINMENT
Your stay is enhanced by an entertainment staff that offers activities and entertainment throughout the day, as well as shows and performances. On the beach, there are bocce and beach volleyball courts, along with beach umbrellas and lounge chairs.

Hiking enthusiasts can use the rental bicycles to explore the surrounding area and reach the Po Delta. There are also boat trips to Venice, Murano, Burano, and Torcello. The location also makes it easy to visit Chioggia and other cities of art such as Padua, Ravenna, and Verona.
