Nestled among apple orchards, vineyards, and green meadows, Camping KOMODO in Gargazzone offers an ideal base to explore South Tyrol. Conveniently located just off the MEBO expressway that connects Bolzano (21 km) to Merano (11 km), the campsite is easily accessible at any hour. The quaint “garden village” of Gargazzone is only a short walk away and provides everything you might need during your stay. Nearby, guests can enjoy the chlorine-free Natural Swimming Pool of Gargazzone, tennis courts, a skatepark, and easy access to both train and bus services. The surrounding area also offers highlights such as the Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle, the South Tyrol Museum of Archaeology (home to Ötzi the Iceman), Lake Caldaro, and much more.

ACCOMMODATIONS
The campsite features 57 spacious pitches ranging from 60 to 80 m², suitable for motorhomes, caravans, and camper vans. All pitches offer standard blue CEE 2 x 16 A power hookups and night-time lighting. For guests seeking a cozy yet rustic experience, six charming wooden cabins are available. Each is designed for two people and includes a single or double bed, a bench, and a small terrace. The campsite is entirely barrier-free, making it accessible to all. Two heated sanitary blocks, a laundry room with washing machine and dryer, an outdoor kitchen, and a barbecue area with tables and chairs enhance guest comfort. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the campsite. Eco-friendly amenities include waste separation and facilities for emptying grey water tanks and portable toilets. The entrance is secured by a video-monitored automatic barrier gate, open 24/7.
