LOCATION
The Camping Lärchwiese is located in Valles, in the heart of the Rio Pusteria Ski & Alpine Pastures Vacation Area, in South Tyrol. The campground is right next to the ski lifts and offers easy access to hiking trails, mountain bike routes, and cable cars. The location also allows you to explore the local towns, alpine pastures, and the alpine landscape of the Dolomites. Valles and Maranza are easily accessible from the A22 highway, about 15 minutes away. Nearby attractions also include the Gitschberg Sun Park and the Jochtal Adventure Park.

ACCOMMODATIONS AND SITES
The campground has 91 sites, ranging in size from 50 to 160 m², suitable for RV, trailers, and tents. They are equipped with electricity, water supply and drainage connections, TV/Sky access, and free Wi-Fi; most also have gas connections. The campsites are surrounded by greenery, and the campground also offers ample space for tour buses.

For those seeking greater privacy, it is possible to rent a private bathroom, complete with toilet, shower, sink, and bidet.

FACILITIES
The campground features a reception desk, a shop, a restaurant and pizzeria serving regional dishes—also available for takeout— a spacious indoor game room, a children’s playground, and two modern restroom facilities. Children’s bathrooms, a nursery, professional washers and dryers, private bathrooms upon request, and facilities for people with disabilities are available. Hot water is free for guests.

The campground also features a large bike storage area and a bike rental service nearby. There is a dog-friendly restroom; pets are allowed, provided they are kept on a leash, but they are not permitted in the restrooms, the restaurant, the convenience store, or the reception area. Guests receive the Brixen Südtirol GuestPass free of charge, which allows for free use of public transportation and includes additional benefits and activities in the region.

ACTIVITIES AND ENTERTAINMENT
Its location right next to the slopes makes the campground ideal for winter vacations, offering opportunities for downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, winter hiking, sledding, ski touring, and ice skating. The Gitschberg Jochtal area features 55 km of slopes and 16 ski lifts, as well as ski schools and children’s parks.

During the warmer months, the region offers numerous hiking trails, bike routes, hikes to alpine pastures, rock climbing, rafting, and paragliding. There are also activities and programs for families, e-bike tours, guided tours, and walks to discover aromatic herbs. From Valles, you can also set out on itineraries to Val Pusteria, the Isarco Valley, and Val d’Alta Fossa.
