Location
The Camping Catinaccio Rosengarten is located in Pozza di Fassa, at an altitude of 1,320 meters, in the heart of the Val di Fassa. The campground, run by the Rizzi family for three generations, occupies a quiet, sunny, and scenic location overlooking the Dolomites, with the center of Pozza di Fassa just a 200-meter walk away. One side of the campground is directly connected to the bicycle and pedestrian path that crosses the Val di Fassa from Moena to Canazei, following the route of the Marcialonga. The Val di Fassa is located in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Dolomites. The campground is also a partner of the Val di Fassa Tourist Board (ApT Val di Fassa), offering guests benefits related to the FASSA CARD, PANORAMA PASS, and SKIBUS.

Accommodations
Camping Catinaccio Rosengarten offers studio apartments, chalets, and caravans. The mini-apartments, built with high-quality, eco-friendly materials and furnished in Alpine style, are accessible via stairs and an elevator. There are four units measuring 30 m² that can accommodate up to four people and two apartments measuring 27 m², accommodating up to two and three people, respectively, spread over two floors.

The Chalets 18 and 56, measuring 50 m², can accommodate up to six people and are distributed between the ground floor and a loft. They feature two bathrooms, with the ground floor and its bathroom fully accessible to people with disabilities. They are equipped with a 50" Smart TV, free high-speed fiber-optic Wi-Fi, a dishwasher, a shower, a toilet, a hair dryer, a double bed, a double sofa bed, a spacious kitchen with living area, a private balcony, large windows, and a private outdoor area with lounge chairs. There is also a ski and boot storage area with a private heated locker. The chalets are built with certified organic wood, soundproofed, meet the CasaClima energy efficiency standard, and are powered by 100% renewable energy. Pets are not allowed.

The caravans can accommodate two to four people, with or without a toilet, and are available year-round. They are equipped with cookware, dishes, a refrigerator, a gas stove, a sink, pillows, and blankets, as well as a Tyrolean-style wooden porch. Outdoor amenities include a beach umbrella, lounge chairs, chairs, and a table. Showers are located in the campground’s shared facilities, while some caravans feature a chemical toilet, designed for guests with mobility issues or for those who prefer not to go outside at night.

Amenities
Inside the facility, there is a wellness area featuring a Turkish bath, sauna, relaxation area, and sensory shower, built with reclaimed antique wood from traditional Alpine homes. The relaxation room also includes a herbal tea corner, flanked by an area with private bathrooms.

The campground features a bar and tobacco shop serving breakfast, aperitifs, snacks, pizzas, and sandwiches, with the option to order fresh bread. There is also aspacious common lounge with a big-screen TV, which can also be used in case of bad weather, a room dedicated to children’s entertainment during peak season, a playground, and a barbecue area.

Nearby are the Terme Dolomia, which has a special agreement with the campground, and the QC Terme Dolomiti, which also has a special agreement and is located just a few hundred meters away. The latter facility also features an outdoor swimming pool.

Activities and Entertainment
The campground’s location allows for numerous outdoor activities throughout the year. In summer, there are walks for all skill levels—even with children and strollers—as well as hiking, mountaineering, rock climbing, trekking, running, cycling, mountain biking, tennis, horseback riding, golf, mini-golf, and paragliding. For cyclists and mountain bikers, there is a dedicated shuttle bus service that transports bicycles on board.

In winter, Val di Fassa offers opportunities to enjoy downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, winter walks, snowshoeing, ice skating, Nordic walking, ice climbing, and sport climbing. The property therefore serves as a starting point for enjoying the sports and outdoor activities offered in the area.
