LOCATION
The Camping Antholz is located in Anterselva, in South Tyrol, in the alpine landscape of the Puster Valley, nestled in a natural setting characterized by forests, meadows, alpine pastures, and mountains. The campground’s central location allows you to fully experience the Anterselva Valley and easily reach numerous points of interest. Among these, the Lake Anterselva stands out, surrounded by hiking trails and accessible even with strollers along the lake’s perimeter. Nearby attractions also include the Vedrette di Ries Mountain Hut, the Vedrette di Ries Range, the Grübl, the Steinzger Alpine Pasture, the Stalle Pass, and the Ochsenalm Alpine Pasture. A hike also leads to the Due Laghi viewpoint, which offers a view of the Obersee Lake and the Defereggen Valley. The campground also serves as a starting point for exploring the Plan de Corones, while in the valley you can learn about local crafts and visit local artisans.

ACCOMMODATIONS
Camping Antholz offers three categories of accommodations: Standard campsites, Comfort campsites, and wooden cabins. The Standard campsites measure 80 m², offer a panoramic view, and are equipped with 16 A electrical outlets and DVB-T cable TV connections. The Comfort sites are more spacious, measuring 120 m², and are also equipped with 16 A electrical outlets and DVB-T cable TV connections, as well as hookups for drinking water and wastewater; the drinking water connection is available in the summer.

For those looking for something unique, wooden barrels are available in standard and XL sizes. These are cozy, heated spaces equipped with electricity, Wi-Fi, and TV, featuring a bedroom and an entryway that can accommodate an additional bed or serve as a living area. The XL sleeping barrels offer more space and also feature a refrigerator and microwave. The interiors are crafted from natural materials and thoughtfully designed furnishings, creating an intimate and comfortable atmosphere.

AMENITIES
Camping Antholz features sanitary facilities designed to meet campers’ needs and also provides a free pet shower. Guests can take advantage of the Premium Guest Pass, which allows free use of South Tyrol’s public transportation, including regional trains, participation in recreational activity programs, and various discounts. The bus stop is located right at Camping Antholz.

A hiking guide and various maps are also available free of charge at the campground and the Tourist Office. One trail starts directly from the campground and follows an old military road to the Grübl Alpine Pasture, crossing the Plötzlbach stream and returning along the Urigsteig trail. Another circular route starts at the Anterselva Biathlon Center, passes by Lake Anterselva, and reaches the Steinzger Alpine Pasture and the Stalle Pass.

In winter, the area offers opportunities for cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, and snowshoeing, while the campground also provides the chance to experience the atmosphere of biathlon.
