The Alpin Fitness Waldcamping is located in Foiana, a health resort nestled among forests and orchards at an altitude of 700 meters, in the heart of South Tyrol. This hamlet in the municipality of Lana is situated in a strategic location: just 10 kilometers from Merano and about 25 kilometers from Bolzano. Protected from traffic and surrounded by nature, the campground overlooks the Adige Valley and offers a view that stretches from the Catinaccio Group to the Dolomites. Nearby, you’ll find castles, ancient ruins, vineyards, themed trails, and Mount San Vigilio, all easily accessible on foot or by bike.

The Alpin Fitness Waldcamping offers a wide selection of campsites surrounded by nature spread over more than 2.5 hectares. The accommodations are divided into three categories: small campsites, standard, and comfort.

The small campsites (30–50 m²) are covered in gravel and grass, sunny or partially shaded, with electric hookups and drinking water outlets nearby.

The standard sites (60–80 m²), on grass or terraces, offer a combination of sun and shade, with electric hookups and drinking water either directly connected or nearby.

The comfort sites (80–120 m²) are the most spacious, available on grass or gravel, sunny or partially shaded, with electric hookups and direct access to or proximity to the water supply.

The campground has a reception desk where you can get information about your stay and excursions, and rent tokens for the laundry machines. There is also a bar with a small shop, ideal for purchasing snacks, drinks, desserts, ice cream, and everyday essentials.

The campground is equipped with two modern restrooms, one of which opened in 2019, and an outdoor pool, open from May to October and reserved exclusively for guests.

For children, there is a playground in the forest, while the scenic trail that runs through the campground offers stunning views of the valley and the Dolomites. There is also a South Tyrolean-style barbecue area, which is also used in the evenings for pizza or barbecue.

For guests with pets, a dog trail has been created, complete with free bags for waste pickup.

The Alpin Fitness Waldcamping is an ideal starting point for hikes and bike rides to explore natural landscapes, medieval castles, and ancient settlements.

In the fall, you can experience the traditional Törggelen, the typical festival celebrating the chestnut harvest. Culture enthusiasts can visit the Foiana Farming Museum, open from Easter through All Saints’ Day.

Even in winter, Mount San Vigilio, accessible by cable car, is an ideal destination for lovers of winter sports, while the nearby ski areas round out the snow-related offerings.
