LOCATION
The Villaggio Camping Spiaggia del Riso is located in Campulongu, in the Villasimius area, on the southeastern coast of Sardinia. The campground is nestled in a pine forest covering approximately 60,000 m² and is located about 50 km from Cagliari.

BEACH AND SEA
The campground offers direct access to Spiaggia del Riso, located within the Capo Carbonara Marine Protected Area. The beach features fine grains of white quartz and a shallow, sandy seabed; Campulongu Beach is also just a short walk away. There is a beachfront bar.

CAMPING SITES
Flat, shaded campsites are available for tents, pop-up tents, tent trailers, RVs, campers, and minibuses. The campsites have electrical hookups and access to the campground’s facilities; seaside sites are also available, complete with a canopy for a tent-veranda.

BUNGALOWS AND MOBILE HOMES
The campground offers Back Banana and Bradipo wooden bungalows, mobile homes, brick cottages, and Pod Tents. The bungalows feature a covered porch, while the mobile homes are designed to offer greater comfort within the campground.

DINING AND SERVICES
On-site facilities include the La Sorgente Restaurant and Pizzeria, offering table service, self-service lunch, and takeout, as well as a market with a butcher shop and a bar. Also available are a reception desk, restrooms, RV services, a playground, and a fitness trail.

SPORTS AND LEISURE
The campground offers recreational activities for adults and children. Its location also makes it possible to organize boat excursions in the Capo Carbonara Marine Protected Area, as well as cycling, snorkeling, and scuba diving.

PETS
Pets are allowed with prior authorization. On the beach, dogs are allowed only in the evening and at night.

THINGS TO DISCOVER IN THE SURROUNDING AREA
Villasimius offers numerous beaches, including Porto Sa Ruxi, Campus, Porto Giunco, Cala Caterina, Cava Usai, Is Traias, and Punta Molentis. Nearby, you can visit the Archaeological Museum, the Old Fortress, the domus de janas, the nuraghi, and the islands of Cavoli and Serpentara.
