POSITION
Immersed in nature and directly overlooking the enchanting Spiaggia del Riso, the Spiaggia del Riso Camping Village is located in the heart of Villasimius, one of the most charming locations on the southeastern coast of Sardinia. With its 60,000 square meters of Mediterranean pine forest and direct access to the sea, the camping è located in a privileged area that also allows you to walk to the nearby beach of Campulongu and the marina. The area, an integral part of the Capo Carbonara Marine Protected Area, è is a true natural paradise, ideal for those who love unspoiled beaches, crystal clear waters and breathtaking views. In addition to the sea, Villasimius offers numerous points of cultural interest: the local Archaeological Museum tells millennia of history, while nearby you can visit nuraghi, domus de janas, menhirs and the striking Old Fortress, a witness to the Aragonese and Savoy eras.

SYSTEMS
The facility offers a’wide range of housing solutions for every need, all immersed in the green pine forest and within walking distance from the sea. There are 217 pitches and they are differentiated by type: there are those dedicated to Canadian tents or igloos, flat and shaded; those for caravans, manicured and reserved; spaces for campers and minibuses, including pitches facing the sea for a stay with spectacular views. All pitches are served by four groups of sanitary facilities distributed throughout the campground, with showers (indoor with coin-operated hot water), toilets, sinks for dishes and laundry, coin-operated washing machines, fish cleaning areas, and as many as 62 total showers between indoor and outdoor.

Those who prefer more comfortable accommodation can opt for bungalows, available in Back Banana (30 sq m, up to 5 people) or Sloth (32 sq m, up to 5 people), wooden cottages equipped with a covered veranda. Mobile homes (22 sq m, up to 3 persons) are true camping suites, while brick rooms (12 sq m, up to 3 guests) provide comfort in a’traditional atmosphere. There is also no shortage of possibilities to stay in original pod tents (6 sq m, for 2 guests), ideal for a romantic vacation. All of these units can be booked with hotel formula (breakfast, half or full board) and, in some cases, include daily tidying up.

SERVICES
The Spiaggia del Riso Camping Village guarantees guests a complete and carefree experience thanks to numerous services designed to meet every need. La Sorgente Pizzeria Restaurant is the gastronomic heart of the campground, open for lunch with self-service and in the evening with menù à la carte, as well as the possibility of ordering take-out dishes to enjoy on the veranda or in the pine forest. Two bars – one of which directly overlooks the beach – accompany the days with breakfasts, snacks and aperitifs overlooking the sea.

A well-stocked market with butcher's shop and newsstand allows you to do your shopping without leaving the village. For relaxation and recreation there is a health trail surrounded by greenery, a’children’s play area, a soccer field and a tennis court, as well as 24 barbecue stations for convivial barbecues with friends or family. Toilets are well distributed and accessible, also designed for people with disabilities. Everything è designed to offer guests a vacation in comfort, without sacrificing the authentic atmosphere of camping.

ACTIVITIESÀ AND ENTERTAINMENT
From mid-June to mid-September, the village comes alive with a rich entertainment program dedicated to adults and children: games, workshops, shows and sports punctuate the days in a cheerful and engaging atmosphere. Those who love to explore will be able to take advantage of the many excursion opportunities: boat tours between the’Island of Cabbages and the’Island of Serpentara, diving to admire the Madonna del Naufrago on the seabed, bike or horseback rides to discover the’Sardinian hinterland.

For those interested in culture, the surroundings of Villasimius offer interesting insights such as the Archaeological Museum, coastal towers and nuragic sites. The area's famous beaches – Porto Giunco, Campus, Cala Caterina, Is Traias, Punta Molentis – are all just a few kilometers away, ideal for a different beach day every day.
