LOCATION
The Camping Acapulco is located in Palau, on the northern coast of Sardinia, facing the Maddalena Archipelago, surrounded by Mediterranean scrub. Nearby attractions include the Fortress of Monte Altura, the Roccia dell’Orso, the Tombs of the Giants, and the beaches of La Sciumara, Palau Vecchio, Porto Faro, and theIsolotto. The property also features a beach with crystal-clear waters and a gently sloping seabed.

ACCOMMODATIONS AND SITES
Sites for tents, RVs, and trailers are available, some directly on the beach, with 10-amp power available. The campground offers bungalows, mobile homes for 2/3/4 people, and mini mobile homes, equipped with a bathroom, kitchen or kitchenette, a veranda, TV, and air conditioning depending on the type. Some accommodations feature a fenced-in terrace and are pet-friendly.

FACILITIES
The campground features a beach, a bar, and a restaurant/pizzeria. The bar serves breakfast, aperitifs, and cocktails, while the restaurant offers traditional Sardinian cuisine, wood-fired pizza, children’s meals, and gluten-free options. There are also restroom facilities with free hot showers, a portable toilet, and coin-operated laundry machines.

ACTIVITIES AND ENTERTAINMENT
About 600 meters away is the Nautilus Diving Center, offering PADI courses and diving excursions. About 1,700 meters away, at Sciumara Beach, Salty Wind a.s.d. offers windsurfing, sailing, catamaran sailing, and stand-up paddleboarding. The campground also partners with Riviera di Gallura for boat excursions to the islands of Spargi, Budelli, and Santa Maria.
