LOCATION
Camping La Mariposa is located at theentrance to Alghero, in the province of Sassari, in the northwestern part of Sardinia. The campground is nestled in a pine forest featuring eucalyptus and juniper trees and is just a short walk from the white-sand beach of Lido di Alghero. This location also provides easy access to the beaches of Le Bombarde, Porto Ferro, and Spiaggia del Porticciolo. The campground is 6 km from theAlghero/Fertilia International Airport and 35 km from Porto Torres, from which ferries depart daily for the mainland. Just a few meters from the campground is the city bus stop, served by the Alfa and AF lines.

ACCOMMODATIONS AND SITES
The campground has 125 equipped campsites, suitable for tents, trailers, and RVs, each equipped with a power hookup. Available pitches include 2- to 4-person tent sites, tent cabin sites, trailer sites, RV sites, and Minibus/Air Camping sites. The central area houses the restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities. Reservations are not accepted for campsites.

The resort offers various types of accommodations. Options include rooms, bungalows, mobile homes, cottages, and a log cabin-style mobile home. The cottages and mobile homes are modernly furnished accommodations, equipped with a private bathroom and a veranda. The bungalows are made of wood and feature a furnished outdoor veranda. The rooms are designed for two people and consist of a studio with bunk beds, a closet, and a nightstand. The indicated capacity is a maximum of 2 people for the rooms, 4 for the bungalows, 5 for mobile homes, 4 for cottages, and 5 for the mountain cabin-style mobile home.

FACILITIES
InsideCamping La Mariposa features a bar and pizzeria, where breakfast, appetizers, and pizza, and a convenience store with basic necessities. The property offers access to the beach via steps and a ramp, as well as a public beach area; at the kiosk, you can rent beach umbrellas and lounge chairs. Also available are bike and motorcycle rentals, the ferry reservation service, the Camper Service for drinking water refills and waste disposal, Wi-Fi, the laundry service, the luggage storage and a paid transfer service.

Thesanitary area includes sinks for hand-washing clothes, dishes, and for personal use. There are hot showers available for a fee, both indoors andoutdoors, as well as cold showers both outdoors and indoors. Pets are allowed on the premises and in the campsites; Dogs are not allowed on the beach, but there is a dog beach nearby.

ACTIVITIES AND ENTERTAINMENT
Its location on the Lido di Alghero offers a variety of opportunities for sports and outdoor activities. The surrounding area is ideal for scuba diving, kitesurfing, windsurfing, and SUP, as well as paragliding and rock climbing. There are also opportunities to explore the surrounding area by bike or kayak. The Lido di Alghero is crossed by a flat bike path that leads to the historic center and beyond.
