The Butterfly House Sardegna is a theme park that spans about 5 hectares in the countryside of the municipality of Olmedo, just a few kilometers from Alghero. Nestled amid Mediterranean vegetation, it is home to a unique attraction: the Butterfly House, the only biosphere in Sardinia where hundreds of tropical butterflies fly freely. The biosphere replicates a typical rainforest ecosystem, with ideal conditions for the growth of numerous tropical plants, creating a perfect habitat for butterflies and exotic insects.

The tour of the biosphere offers a unique experience to discover a corner of tropical nature in Sardinia. After the introductory tour, which includes the “Six-Legged Jewels” exhibit and a documentary on the life of butterflies, visitors can relax in the shade of the pergolas or take a dip in the park’s pool.
