The ''Falcone'' campsite was built in 1997 on a hill standing approx. 480 metres above sea level and offers a breathtaking view over the lakes of Corbara and Alviano, nestling in the green of the oaks, ilexes and olive trees. The name comes from an old hunting site where falconry was practised in medieval times.

The lime kiln and a stable for mules used for the transport of wood down to the valley are also witnesses to this antiquity.

The near Civitella del Lago
The camping is not far away from the road known as ''della Montagna'' which leads immediately to the Franciscan sites called ''Pasquarella'' and ''Pantanelli''.
The large castle of Civitella del Lago, the ancient Roman Vindino, with its church and medieval gates is only a kilometre away. Orvieto and Todi, Amelia and Narni are no further than twenty minutes away.
The position of the camping site, near to the principal roads, allows you to reach the most beutiful artistic towns of the region, like Perugia, Terni, Assisi, Siena and Rome.
