Misano Adriatico on the Adriatic coast is located in Rimini in the region of Emilia-Romagna. A popular holiday destination for families, the seaside town has several pretty beaches.
The town is best known for being the home of Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli. The track hosts a number of events including the San Marino and Rimini Coast Grant Prix, part of the MotoGP World Championship.
Visitors can live the thrill of auto racing with a driving experience at the Misano World Cup Circuit. Driving courses are also available through an on-site driving school. The Santmonica Kart Track is also a fun way to test driving skills on a smaller course with go-karts. A beautiful port and marina serves as a launching point for sailing, diving and fishing.
Rimini is about 14 kilometres from Misano. The city is famous for its seaside resorts as well as Roman and Renaissance monuments. Neighbouring towns of interest include Cattolica and San Clemente.
