LOCATION
Camping Paradies Franken is located in Walkershofen, in the municipality of Simmershofen, in the Main-Tauber-Franken region of northern Bavaria. It is situated in a rural setting, surrounded by fields, between Würzburg and Rothenburg ob der Tauber.

SWIMMING POOL AND RELAXATION
The campground features a small wellness area in the basement of the main building, complete with a Vital thermal bed with tourmaline stones and an infrared cabin.

PITCHES
The Standard and Comfort pitches measure 100 m². Comfort sites have direct connections to drinking water, sewage, and electricity; Standard sites are equipped with an electrical connection. Tent sites and an area for RVs are also available.

Facilities include a dishwashing area, washing machine, dryer, restrooms, a bathroom with an accessible toilet and shower, and a baby-changing station. Hot water is included, and Wi-Fi is free.

RENTAL ACCOMMODATIONS
Two Camping Pods are available, each accommodating up to 3 people. They feature a double bed, indoor and outdoor seating, lighting, electricity, and heating; they are located near the restrooms, and an extra bed can be added.

DINING AND SERVICES
The Wirtshaus im Ried, with a covered terrace, offers Franconian and traditional cuisine, homemade desserts and cakes, as well as hot and cold dishes for dinner. During the season, a bread delivery service is available by reservation. At the campground, you can also purchase gas cylinders, camping accessories, and regional products such as cheese, cured meats, honey, and wine.

SPORTS AND LEISURE
Hiking and biking trails start right from the campground. The front desk provides maps and information on local routes.

PETS
Dogs are allowed in the Camping Pods. A separate pet fee applies for stays on campsites.

THINGS TO DISCOVER IN THE SURROUNDING AREA
The campground serves as a starting point for visiting Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Würzburg, Ansbach, Weikersheim, Bad Mergentheim, and Bad Windsheim. Also nearby are Aub, Röttingen, Creglingen, Uffenheim, and Nuremberg, as well as the thermal baths in Bad Windsheim, Bad Mergentheim, and Kitzingen.
